George Soros has been supporting the democratic values for more than 30 years. When he opened the Central European University he wanted the students and the youth from the Russia and Germany to be open minded and embrace all races they come across. He has funded a lot of charities that open up the worlds and minds of the people who were in the Former Soviet Union to the world.

He has not stopped working with the organizations since he started. He is the voice of the sidelined people in society and works with groups like Global Witness, International Crisis Group, Institute for New Economic Thinking and much more.
